No because i did not expect to get a liking to the ghouls these easily ( Kaneki is a exception tho). Like i don't like those who eats humans non stop and with the feeling of desire, but i don't like either the Dove ppl or smth because they way they do it is also wrong, especially the old one=/

I mean they can atleast stop trying to make em go extinct before even checking if they kill people for food-Im sure gonna blame em- even the doctor,he mustve not killed humans in his life as well(as Hinami and her mom were able to go to Anteiku),but gets killed helplessly

the same goes for cows pigs chickens and all them animals who we kill. they are innocent aren't they so why do we kill them!? that old man's family was killed by ghoul so he wants revenge and if I were in his shoes I would do the same thing btw, I'm not a vegan enthusiast!

I guess it's all about how you view it, if you think the killing and eating of another being us right, then they've done nothing wrong. However I do think that the simplification of the morality behind this is wrong.

Like some of y'all are like it's not wrong, cause this is anime and not real life. But imagine this was real life and the ghouls kill your parents or siblings, would you say the same thing? 😂 , I think not. I don't blame anyone for their actions in this anime... except a few. Some of the doves prolly had their loved ones killed and I won't say "extinction to the ghouls"for that. I just think there could be a middle ground and that's what facinates me about this anime.

I dont think there's anything to hate Ghouls. If u see in a perspective like we, humans, eat chicken, cow, goat etc. To ghouls we are also like chickens or whatsoever. I know its kinda weird but just a point of view. :)

Well if you think about for other creatures we humans are the real monsters cuz we consider ourselves the best and do what we want..Even eat other animals..So I think ghouls are doing nothing wrong as humans eat chicken ghouls eat humans to survive. Tokyo ghoul taught me that :|

If you think about other creatures, in general, plants are life-forms as well, not as "evolved" as most science would have it with "animals", but life-forms either way, and everyone, omnivores, vegetarians and vegans as well, eats them. I mean no offense to those who live by vegetation mainly or only, but it's hypocritical to say we're cruel or predatory only when feeding on animal life. We take life to support our own life, it's the cycle of matter and life in Nature, as far as we know.

However, there's a deeper morality(with a more obvious squick factor attached) issue when we meet a species so closely developed and related to our own and there's some cannibalism involved. Save for special abilities and diet, ghouls in this series are almost the same thing as humans, they can easily pass for humans too and live among them, and, as shown by Nishiki and Kimi, can even have romantic inter-species relationships...or, as Itoki(I think that was her name) claimed, even have children, however rare they may be, owed to a certain level of genetic incompatibility.

Either way, it's hard to see ghouls as a completely different species when they can easily be humane, so the ethical issues do come into play with their feeding on both humans and their own peers as basic cannibalism.

Everytime I watch this episode it just make me annoyed at the doves I mean there worse that ghouls essentially they lure them in by faking identities then manipulate them in to getting info for there lives then kill them off and then use there dead parts to lure others in tch they have no humanity to save them

Whenever the "doves" make you angry, remember that ghouls often tend to be monsters even to their own kind. Did you already forget how many were shown to fall for cannibalism at the "Gourmet"'s meetings and how he lured Kaneki-kun in, trapped him with dosed coffee and tried to maul him in a circus performance with the purpose of eating him?! Then did the encore with Kimi as a hostage?! Many ghouls are like that, we just get to see the exceptions' povs, for the most part.

Humans being a ghoul doesn't make them less human, and a human being ghoulish doesn't make them less than ghouls. Anyway, I know they are just trying to survive as, eating anything else other than flesh will drive them crazy mad. Humans have dominated since long, and would certainly wipe smth that can pose as a threat to them, well the ghouls can be counted as humans too so, let's see which one prevails lol. Reminds me of war, when ppl from both sides lose their loved ones and hold grudges/live a life of despair. Weird how difficult it gets to co-exist with your own species irl.

I can somewhat understand both race's situation. With this, I have no reason to hate either side because deep down, we as humans would want to eradicate anything that's a threat to us. Some people would think twice before killing that kind of organism that has a kid, but let's not forget that there's also some fuckers that would kill them without hesitation mainly because of the sake of our very lives.
